It all started when Alyssa was a broke college student with a passion for woodworking. She wanted to build a set of cornhole boards for Father's Day but wasn't exactly impressed with our dad's woodworking skills so she decided to learn how to do it herself.

Fast forward to 2023, when our best friend since fourth grade was expecting her first baby. She had a vision for her baby shower and knew we were the girls to bring it to life. Together, we created our very first event setup. From that moment on, we were hooked.

What started as one fun project quickly turned into weekend bookings, custom builds, and celebrations we couldn't wait to be a part of. As our creativity grew beyond woodworking, we knew it was time for a name that captured everything we had become-Double Knotted.
